This presentation introduces the various codes, standards, and specifications that govern concrete masonry units, materials, design, and construction. Specific topics include ASTM standards for materials, Building Code Requirements and Specification for Masonry Structures (TMS 402 and 602), and the relationship between these documents and the International Building Code (IBC).
